Privacy policy

This explains what Ledgerline collects and what it does with it.

What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in.
• Statement PDFs you upload, and the transactions we read from them.
• Billing details, which are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded PDFs are deleted automatically 90 days after upload.
• Extracted transactions are kept until you delete the client they belong to.
• Only the last four digits of an account or card number are kept.

How we protect it

• Files are stored privately and encrypted at rest. Download links expire after 10 minutes.
• Each firm's data is walled off from every other firm.
• Our logs record statement ids and counts, never statement text, account numbers, or descriptions.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run Ledgerline: our hosting provider, our file storage provider, our email provider (to send sign-in links), and Stripe (for billing). We do not sell your data.
